BVH Motion Data and Animated Pose sets
These BVH data sets were captured specifically for the G2 Males using motion capture technology and live actors by MetaMotion. This means that the specific character rig was targeted resulting in more realistic motion and optimal bending of the characters joints. Each set was then converted to the animated pose format specifically for Poser and Poser Pro. Both Animated Poses and the raw BVH data are included in this package.


Why choose these over other BVH data or animated pose sets?
Simple, these are high quality data sets captured using the latest technology and optimized for each specific figure. Most BVH data on the market was not captured with Poser or Poser characters in mind and therefore some typical problems occur that can require a great deal of touch up and adjustment. For example, exaggerated rotations, figures not aligned with the ground plane, and jittery or jumpy body parts. With this data set and the conversion to PoserÅfs animated pose format, we have been able to virtually eliminate these issues.


Not an animator?
Applying these animated poses to poser figures can be a great learning tool, save you time in situations where you must animate, and can offer a multitude of still poses by allowing you to select a specific frame of an animation to be used as a still pose.

Animated Poses make it easy to apply realistic human motion data to your Poser figures however the raw BVH files are also included for the advanced or expert animator. This set includes 18 Animated Doctor Poses for the G2 Males from Smith Micro as well as the BVH data files that can be imported via PoserÅfs File/Import menu.
